Franklin Kurniawan

Franklin graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1992 as a Mechanical Engineer and obtained Master of Science in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1994.

He obtained his Six Sigma Black Belt from Air Academy (Colorado) in 2000 during his tenure with PerkinElmer. He started implementing Lean Manufacturing in various countries from 2001. Franklin has worked and taken leadership positions in various MNC’s including Quantum, Panasonic, PerkinElmer, Siemens, and Dyson across Indonesia, the Philippines and Singapore.

Franklin’s experience in factory management and operational excellence is complemented by his in-depth experience and knowledge in Industry 4.0 technologies such as ERP, MES, IoT, RPA.

Franklin is co-founder and CEO of Opex Consulting Group, an end-to-end Digital Transformation solution provider operating in Singapore and Indonesia.
