Rafi graduated from Trisakti University witha Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. He continued his study and completed his Master's Degree in Information Technology from Swinburne University of Technology. Rafi spent over 10 years working in the IT industry and now holds an IT Project Manager position at PT. Kairos Utama Indonesia. He is a certified Project Management Professional since 2004.
Rafi is a long serving member of the Communication department in the PMI Indonesia Chapter, he has previously held the Vice President position and continues to serve as a board member. Outside of work and volunteering, he enjoys doing sports.
Handy is an experienced professional in IT, having worked for more than a decade in the industry. He currently works at PT. Mastersystem Infotama as Business Manager. Handy graduated from Binus University in 2003. He is a long serving volunteer in the Indonesia Chapter and currently contributes in the Communication department. Handy enjoys running outdoors in his spare time.
Trifina is a Project Manager at AXA Indonesia. She graduated from Universitas Islam Indonesia in 2000 and has worked in several companies such as IBM, XL Axiata, Idemia, Allianz and Manulife. In her recent years she has spent her years as an IT Professional in the Financial Services sector. Trifina holds the PMP and PMI-RMP credentials from PMI and she has started her volunteering journey with PMI Indonesia in 2021. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming and reading. Trifina is also a fan of stand-up comedy.
Ericha is a passionate youth with several experience in handling project. She earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from Telkom University in 2020 with Monitoring Change Request in Project as her topic undergraduate thesis. Some of her professional skills are Technical Writing, Business Analysis System, and Product Development.
Pari's professional career started in 2013 and now serving as Project Leader on one of packages in the LRT Jabodebek Project. Pari is capable in managing projects with experience in construction, offshore transportation and installation, decommissioning, as well as consultancy works. Pari joined the PMI Indonesia Communication team in 2021.

Project Management For Small Projects
What’s a small project? For the purposes of this article, I’ve defined a small project as a project with a budget of less than $30.000 which is generally completed within 2-4 months. Businesses that engage in shorter-term or smaller projects, are generally those that are producing these on a regular basis (my own experience with Island Media is specifically based in digital projects which includes branding, design, development, and advertising). This generally means that often, there are multiple ongoing projects running concurrently – this drives a real need for strong project management. However, historically, project management frameworks have been developed for large scale projects, and while exemplary, it’s not always possible or financially viable to run small projects abiding to the same frameworks.
